Not to mean any impiety to Islam, but I've always had this thing for young Malay women in tudung (traditional Muslim head scarf). I think they look very preppy - and even a tinge sexy?When Nurul Izzah Anwar, the eldest daughter of political dissident Anwar Ibrahim, broke into the scene in the wake of her father's arrest and subsequent imprisonment in 1999, I thought - wow - she must be the most beautiful girl I had ever seen!
Cut to nine years later, the 27-year-old is still as ravishing as her national flower bunga raya (hibiscus), but too bad she's long married and already has two babies :-(
